Wet Paint
A very well-stocked and friendly store in St. Paul MN. Their customer service is the best I've ever encountered, anywhere. Most of the employees are artists themselves and thoroughly understand the products the sell. They are willing go into amazing detail with any question you have, and if they don't know the answer, they will research it and get back to you.
|
Ampersand
This company sells a wide variety of archival wood panels for oils, acrylics and other media. I use their products almost exclusively for my work...and somehow I've become the official spokesperson for their deep (2")cradled panels. These come in sizes that work together in a modular way and form the basis for my multiple panel paintings.
|

Dorland's Wax Medium
I use Dorland's Wax medium by the gallon...extends and adds transparency and body to the paint, enhances color brilliance, facilitates layering, and speeds up drying time.
|
Cheryl Lins
My e-friend Cheryl's abstract paintings in watercolor and egg tempera draw upon an intriguing range of sources, from the ancient civilization of the Ozieris to Hindu Wisdom Goddesses; they are rich with color and complex, interlocking forms.
|
Anthony Falcetta
Another e-friend, Anthony creates an abstracted world of "shape. color, line, velocity, and balance." He is an excellent writer as well as painter who can tell you what's going on in his studio considerably better than I can! Check out his website.
