The paintings on this page are not part of any series--instead this is a sample of work from the past year or two showing a range of explorations in color, shape, surface, and composition. While my series work is done with a theme or focus in mind, images like these evolve individually within the basic approach that unites all my work--my use of a visual vocabulary that refers to aspects of landscape while expressing an more inner world of thoughts, memories, and experiences.
